06/05/05 - Hello again... Good news and bad news... Bad news, Labour is in power for another term. Good news, my application for Malaysia has been confirmed! So that means I have four months less suffering in this country then you British Citizens do. I don't know what's in store for the future, but I seriously hope it's good, and people start behaving themselves... I'm sure I'll get around to posting my political opinions on here some time soon, then you can see how I really feel about this country...

Still working upon the other features of my site, mainly the Photography Best Pics section, but progress is slow due to my college coursework. Hoping to put a new format style on the forums, and a few forum pages have now been added. Updates on my expedition will come in future Blog entries, all that can be confirmed is that I have to go from Ashford (Kent) to Buxton (Derbyshire), twice! Once by train on the 4th of July (the day my parents get home from Alaska) and again (hopefully I'll get a lift by car) on the 27th of July. Guess I need to get used to all the travelling...

It's also my birthday next Saturday! I'll be off to Camden again, and Brighton (which I should have my camera for, unlike last year). More photos to come then...

13/05/05 - Happy Birthday to me tomorrow... Had a wonderful time in Camden today, but unfortunately no photos this time. I did have my camera, all in working order, but I just didn't feel the need to take any pics. I might be going up to Camden again some time this year, of which I will probably take some more pictures then, but none for now. But I guarantee that there will be some of Brighton when I go there tomorrow. There's supposed to be a small exhibition on the pier of Doctor Who character models, which should be interesting. I've also got a CD of other people's photos from New York, so there should be an extra bit added to the Bonus Photography section some time soon, and the Namibia photos will come in their own time.

So what did I buy in Camden... Three Wrist sweat-bands, some web-like hand bands (girly stuff, never mind), biker gloves with metal studs on them (ideal for punching people with), a T-shirt and a Hoodie. And I do plan on going to Bluewater in this 'hoodie', which has got some attention in the news. I think 'discrimination' and 'political correctness' against the ruling needs to step aside. Why do teens need hoods and caps on indoors anyway? But they're obviously thugs and chavs, so this is only a good thing. But I doubt it will stop problems though, you need to tackle family planning and education, and just plain general society. Good to see Tony Blair is finally taking an interest into the society he's created over the past eight years...

I hope to put the photos on the site as soon as I can. I'll try and work on them on Sunday, though they may be up tomorrow. They should be in the Travels section (as I will be travelling to Brighton). A majority of my coursework for college has be done and handed in... Thank God. What a two years it has been, and soon it'll be all over. Don't think it has been a good two years, but I'm glad I held SimsBB back to get it all done. The stress and the aftermath boredom would have been too much for me. Happy Birthday to me tomorrow, remember to check the site out some time in the next few days...

20/05/05 - Hoorah for me, I'm 19! Had a very nice birthday, the Doctor Who Exhibition in Brighton was really cool. Check the pics out for it (it's under Travels then Family Holidays (though it was more a Family Day Trip)). Finally retrieved my GCSE Photography coursework (after finishing the course almost a year ago), I'll get around to scanning and putting picture of my work on the site. Still working upon other bits of Photography section, which will come eventually, my main focus is The Sims 2: Big Brother 3, which starts (definitely starts) on Friday. There'll be the Review Show on Monday 23rd, so check that out.

Getting more and more excited about going to Malaysia, it's going to be so much fun. But looking in the news, I'd probably want to stay there. There's a reason I voted Conservative, and with the 'yob culture' going round, I'm sure other people may have wanted to do the same. We have a funeral limo smashed, 'happy slapping', a father getting severely beaten, and Linda Walker probably on the brink of suicide from losing her job. I expect the school wanted to save its reputation rather than let her stay as she's now a 'danger to children', children being the 'innocent ones' in everything.

Something else that has caught my attention is a group of pre-schoolers vandalising a school. It's utterly pathetic to hear, three to six-year-olds spreading paint where they can to ruin a new extension on a school. But no charges can be made because the children 'didn't know what they were doing'. I doubt the parents do either. When will discipline return? I won't clog up this blog with ranting; this should be my area for positive stuff really...

But so I can finish on a positive note, I'd just like to add that I've now been going to church for two years (since May 18th 2003), which funnily enough was reported to be the best day to make New Resolutions (January 1st is one of the worst times to do it, apparently). And with this notification, though I haven't properly calculated yet, I think my Baptism was exactly (or almost) 100 weeks later from that date. Now that's interesting...

27/05/05 - Another week goes by, exams been getting done, college course is almost over. Fairly tame week for me this week. I received some information from World Challenge regarding my expedition. I'll be travelling from Kent to Derbyshire (almost all the way across England) to their HQ in Buxton. Whilst I'm there I'll meet other people going on expeditions, and will have to do a five minute presentation on a chosen subject (I'm most likely to choose my Namibia expedition, show them my previous experiences...). Then I'll have to explain what I expect to achieve whilst in the country (find a decent, loving, un-westernised society), what I expect things to be like out there (nicer and friendlier than here), and what I'm looking forward to (going there) and worried about (coming back).

Ooh... being sarcastic now... Much to my delight is that there'll be discussion time on current affairs. Hopefully they won't see me as too much of a pessimist. Other news... The Sims 2: Big Brother 3 has now officially begun and will hopefully be sticking with us for the full five weeks. My schedule isn't so tight and I also have something to do over the next five weeks (apart from watching BBUK6). There's also a few changes to the Photography section. Mainly its file types, just to help me, but there's also a section at the top of each album page where you can request the original photo or for information from any album. Also Bonus New York pics added. That's all for now... So long...
